I’m Charlotte! 40 years young, born and raised in Eindhoven. Enthusiastic, positive, cheerful, and direct. I throw myself into everything with full dedication and thrive on adrenaline.
By now, I’ve officiated over 200 weddings, and I can say with complete honesty that I absolutely love my job.
Even though I’m an emotional person who lives life intensely, I like to approach things with a certain lightness. You’ll see that reflected in my ceremonies. There’s room for all emotions — but after any tears, there’s always room for a good laugh.
Wedding officiant or Celebrant?
If you want to make your marriage official during the ceremony, I can do that for you as a sworn wedding officiant. But you can also take care of the legal “I do” in advance at the town hall and hire me on your wedding day as a celebrant or ceremony speaker.
The advantage? No municipal fees or appointment costs.
And are you celebrating love outside the Netherlands? I’d be happy to travel with you!

My approach
You’ll get more than just a summary of how you met and how the proposal went. My goal? To surprise you with your own story — and to have your guests captivated from beginning to end.
That’s partly thanks to the way I gather information — from different sources and perspectives — but even more because I allow myself the creative freedom to look at that information with a fresh eye. And lucky for me (and you), my background as an actress really comes in handy here.
You are in charge, and I listen as closely as possible to your wishes. But I also ask for your trust—to take your love story and turn it into something you couldn’t have imagined beforehand!
“But De Moel, does that mean you turn it into some kind of theatrical show?” Of course not. My ceremonies are deeply loving and romantic — but also original, interactive, and hilariously fun.
My strength lies in striking the perfect balance between humor and depth, and between love and laughter — so that it truly becomes a memory of a lifetime for the both of you.
The steps: From first meeting to an unforgettable speech!
We’ll start with a no-obligation, digital meet-and-greet to see if there’s a spark on both sides. If all three of us shout a resounding YES, we’re off and running!
Before your ceremony, we’ll schedule an in-depth meeting of about two hours. During that time, I hope you’ll be open to sharing with me about your life and love. I’ll guide you through the process so we can shape the ceremony exactly the way you want it—and so you’ll know what to expect on your big day.
I also work with fun, individual questionnaires — ones you absolutely must keep secret from your partner! And I’ll reach out to some of your closest loved ones too, because you can be sure they have some great stories to tell about you.
For a little while, I’ll dive deep into your life and love story — so I can craft an unforgettable speech from all that gathered goodness… and deliver it on your wedding day with full-on joy. YES!

Your Investment
Wedding Officiant / Celebrant
My fee is €2699 including 21% VAT. This includes:
- A digital introductory meeting
- A detailed in-person meeting (± 2 hours)
- Fun, individual questionnaires
- Contact with some of your loved ones (because they definitely have great things to share about you!)
- Writing an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind speech
- And of course: delivering your ceremony (± 45 min to 1 hour)
- The ceremony can also be partly or fully in English

Please note: This price does not include travel expenses, municipal fees, or possible appointment costs. Tip: Choose a ceremonial wedding to avoid the last two.
What is my rate based on?
Writing and speaking is a craft. The considerable time I invest — combined with my professional speaking background and years of experience —means my rate is higher than average.
The ceremony is the heart of your wedding day and should become a memory for life. I don’t do things halfway, and to guarantee the quality of my work, I take on only a select number of ceremonies per year.
When you place your trust in me, I feel a deep sense of responsibility. And no matter how grateful I am for the beautiful feedback and reviews I’ve received from all the couples I’ve celebrated love with over the years, I treat every ceremony as a new challenge—to live up to that once again.
Why always start with a first meeting?
Because I want us to fall a little bit in love with each other before we all shout a wholehearted YES to working together. That’s why we meet. Simple as that.
